Teenagers held over man's death

The death of the man, who was caught up in an incident in Dens Road, near the junction with North Isla Street, is being treated as murder by police. Two teenagers, aged 17 and 16, have been arrested in connection with the incident and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. A 27-year-old man was also injured in the incident. The 33-year-old was taken to Ninewells hospital but later died. Specialised personnel are now carrying out a detailed examination of the scene and house-to-house inquiries are ongoing in the immediate area. Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. |
