Travel Agent/Seat Broker
Job Description: We are a travel company offering flights, accommodation, car hire, sightseeing tours and insurance, to inbound callers responding to adverts they have seen in the media. Ideally staff will turn a flight enquiry into a tailor-made booking (the more products sold the more commission earned).
JOB PURPOSE: To manage all the travel needs of clients calling in for flights.
To provide outstanding customer service. To work competently and exceed set targets
KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Sales manager, group sales manager, external clients, different company departments and suppliers
MAIN TASKS: To welcome all telephone calls with enthusiasm and meet clients needs. To be responsible for advising and selling an extensive range of travel products. To attend regular product and sales training sessions. To report to manager on a regular basis with sales figures.
Salary:FIRST YEAR (probationary) £18,000 basic (including London weighting) salary for London and Croydon , £15,000 for East Malling and Manchester+ 10% commission on all sales over the weekly target of £700
Keybroker target is £107,000. At the end of the year new staff are expected to have achieved at least 80% of keybroker target
Their 02nd year will be £9,500 basic + £2,500 London weighting which will go up to £14,500 or £17,500 if Keybroker or Super Keybroker are achieved, £12,000 or £15,000 Manchester and East Malling. Sales targets are £700 per week and £6000 per month.
Commission: Commission works on a weekly profit target, staffs receive 20% on everything over and above the target of £700 and the monthly target of £6000. New staff do not have the monthly target for the first twelve months

Hours of Work: 9-9 Mon-Fri (rote) Sat-Sun 9-6 (must be available both weekend days to work one day and have a day off during the week)
Holidays: 20 days per year, not to be taken Jul,Aug,Sep + 5 possible bonus days after 12 months
Training: We offer a comprehensive 3-week assessment-training course, which covers the computer systems and sales techniques.
Ideal Candidates: Must have a sales or travel background, be extremely self-motivated and not be afraid of hard work. Candidates need to be enthusiastic, dedicated, be comfortable working to targets and determined to make that sale.
