Netbirds Newspaper, which was launched this September, is a free classified advertisement newspaper for the UK Chinese community. It includes sections of classified advertisements (house renting, flea market, full-time/part-time job listings, services, and dating) as well as general interest articles and entertainment news.

Netbirds Newspaper is a hard copy version of the Netbirds Website, which currently has 70,000 registered members. For over 6 years Netbirds has proved itself to be one of the most popular websites for Chinese students. Netbirds Media, combining the format of a newspaper and website, is a powerful messenger of up-to-date and relevant information needed for everyday survival, aiming to cater for all the needs of overseas Chinese negotiating life in UK.

In order to continue the successful development of Netbirds Newspaper, we seek a FULL-TIME MEDIA SALES CO-ORDINATOR.

Responsibilities:
- - You will take charge of newspaper advertisement marketing, newspaper distribution, newspaper content adjustment, newspaper income and costing control and partial website promotion.
- - You will be responsible for making and adjusting strategy and planning for the development of the newspaper in the short and long term.

Requirements:
- You will have excellent interpersonal and time management skills, be able to work to strict deadlines and thrive under pressure. You will be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (both oral and written), with a good command of Excel and Word. Relevant publishing experience, fluency in Cantonese and knowledge of other applications such as Pagemaker will be advantages.

Salary:
12k – 16k (negotiable based on previous working experience)
